Does anybody know what hotel the Bahraini players will be staying in before the game?

This has been loosely covered in another thread (ages ago), but if I could find out where they were staying I'd be more than up for driving past (for an hour or so) tooting the horn and making a general commotion.  We need to win this game and I'm not above resorting to that to try and help our boys (lol).

Hi
Hotel will be the Intercontinental Hotel, and training in the court of New Town Park.
Must be very strong horn in your car to wake the All Red players

Yep, they looked half asleep in Manama too, especially that dopey striker that hit the post.

From what i heard the All Whites got a choice reception over there. So i am sure people will be more than accommodating.

That is until they enter the stadium, then it is all on.

All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!

Er, there may be some AW fans staying there too, who need their beauty sleep.

No reason we can't go to the airport and give them a welcome, I would also be open to making loud obnoxious noises outside the Intercont on the Friday night, assuming the All Whites wont be there aswell?

I love Bahrain....the YF poster, not the country or its football team.

Welcome Bahrain - hope to see you here on November 14.

The Reds love all that nosie, horns, drums, the lot. This will defintely excite them into another gear becasue they believe they have got extra supporters in wellytown.

Actually it sounds mean, but to get a hotel room on the same floor could be cool, blast out music 24/7 before the match, make as much noise and commotion as possible.

heck didnt Australia use to do this to us a lot, when we travelled there.

No, there is some history of it between Uruguay and Australia, and the Australians will tell you Uruguay started it so they retaliated.

The Bahriani's certainly didn't behave in this way towards our players.

So is it definitely the Intercontinental Hotel?  Or is that just where they are probably going to stay?

Could be Bharain trying to throw us off.

I would be surprised if it's not.  All the U17 wimmins WC players and staff were there so it's FIFA preferred location.

OK, just to clarify.  This happens often so there is zero chance of FIFA imposing sanctions on NZF for poor sportsmanship or whatever?  I know it's unlikely but want to make sure that I don't shoot NZF in the foot.

there's the rub lg,..you put this energy into it..no telling how it will come back at you.
Its now documented on the net and well out there so they'll have a link to us on here.

I don't think its sporting myself ...but that's just my opinion.
I prefer to let them feel the heat in the RoF.....or is it the wrath of the RoF...?

Hope the ref's on to it......or else " Ref feels Wrath of the RoF."

Hope no one invades the pitch and has a go at the ref....Riff Raff Rumble Ref at the RoF..

Coat, hat,.. 'bye.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Agree completely, RG. Bahraini fans didn't hassle the AW's at their hotel; very friendly all round. Maybe a bit loud with their hooters during our anthem but we couldn't hear it (anthem) down at our end anyway. Save the noise for the RoF.

Karma can be a bitch and treating the Bahrain side badly could come back to bite you in the arse. If we lose Im blaming you if you pull that sort of childish cheap sh*t.
They treated us well while we were over there, lets win the game on the pitch. Treating them badly would probably motivate them even more. Grow a brain.

Yeah Treating them badly is no good. Especially since they were supposedly so good to us. Then once you hit the stadium, just go nuts (In the stand) and don't throw sh*t

Im not into any of this Karma stuff so not worried about that.  Only possible qualm is the aforementioned them being nice to us.

And Scoop, rest assured I shall go nuts in the stand, and nothing will be hurled except support, the odd profanity, and one or two bellowed oaths.

some of their bar-people had no qualms about getting me very drunk, despite the fact that it was after the game.  They were ruthless

bloody Liverpool fans are the only ones with history of this - make sure any attending are aware of this rule.

I dont see any point in trying to give the players a hard time (outside the stadium). I believe we are better than that..

Although once we get into the ROF - give them all the crap you can !
