Sweepa, we all know how dodgy you are. Dont try any of that stuff you did on the West Coast our you''ll be in a Thai police cell by the 28th .

I just made bail, It really is amazing how many lookalikes you have here Nightz, old, large, white men looking for a happy ending to life, ha ha.  but seriously the thai jails aint that good, im like a giant here though and all i done was not realise that the girl/ladyboy wanted to be paid after our "chance encounter at a bar" not my fault, though once i paid up the nz$2 i was free to go.

Yours from a thai bar

Good question.  I'm far too poor to travel to the game but would love to watch it.

If not televised, anyone think it will be online anywhere (eg. on Iraqgoals.com)? Travelling at the moment but would be awesome to see it.

Just woke up, starting to sweat already, and it aint from the thai food i ate, it is rather warm already and its only 7;30, had the aircon set to 28 degrees and it felt like i was stepping out of a chiller into a fire!! dont fancy plaing in this heat/humidity, lucky i can keep my fluids up with a few of the local beer products. No one seems to know about the game here, even though its just ndown the road. oh well betta go and have some rice for breakfast and prepare myself for the big day!!

P.S i will post a score here when i get to an internet after the game.

Good on ya for supporting the team. Hope you have a few others to help you cheer them on. Should be an interesting match. Hope Killen manages to pass the fitness test and starts. Will be great to see such a strong NZ side playing together.

Ex-Knights (possibly Kingz) as a youngster.  Son of Dave Bright, Step SOn of Chris Turner.

Left the Knights (youth spot) for a dutch second division club, from there went to Norway lower divisions where he scored a truck load, from there got picked up by a Greek top division club.

Yeah Nightz those sweats are a problem, it maybe just that im on my honeymoon and trying to get the wife to accept that we going to a ping pong show. that was the only way i could distract her while i brought the expensive match tickets, they cost 200 each, (baht that is) which is about nz$10.50. she thought she was romantically eloping, I had another agenda, although i think i lost out in the end!! As for the itch that ive since developed since i have been here it could be another trip to the sex disease clinic when i get home or it might just be the bed bugs/fleas from the dirty places i manage  to find myself in almost nightly, oh well you decide.
as for the game, well i aint seen many kiwis here so i might be the only one at the game tonight, its 4 oclock now and gonna head to the stadium soon ( rush hour is a nightmare) might have to catch a death defying motorbike taxi. it still feels like it is 35+ deg and i saw a sign when i was at the stadium NO ALCOHOL. That aint nice.

Can't see it on Iraqgoals

Perhaps there is no tele coverage at all though that would be surprising.

I know, I'm waiting up for it but gonna be guttered if there's no way to find it. I'll watch the text commentary but I'd really like to see the team in action.
Doubt there will be much mention in Tv news tomorrow either. Unless we smash them or something.

I'm actually expecting a lot from Kris Bright

This text commentary, does it just change the score every now and then or do we see stats and get a couple of sentences to read for every few minutes?

I hope the latter...
But now I'm looking at it, I think we will be lucky to get anything

Permalink Permalink

Might look round some thai sites now . But might be another language..

Best I can find is http://livescore.goal.com/

It has the current score at 0-0 (as at 11 minutes through).  Don't know how reliable it is but I guess it'll have to do.

Yeah, no idea how reliable it is but apparently is 2-1.  Seriously wish it'd at least say the scorers.

c'mon NZ, you can win this one guys, even if it is like 40 degrees out there.

Its a pity that for some reason this is not on espnsoccernet.

Yea I agree. If it as on espn then id feel safer about whats happening.
Anyway its still 2-1 at the half.

Were we expecting a win out of this game? I know its a friendly but in my mind I had us on even terms with our team a slight edge. But the heat could work in Favour of the thai
