A few rumblings on this in the Toronto forum.

Apparently had a pretty good year last year so unsure as to why he is on the outer. Any ideas if he's looking abroad?

From the Toronto Star: http://www.thestar.com/Sports/Soccer/article/414905

While the starters stretched yesterday, the reserves practised minus Andrew Boyens. The team had released the second-year defender on Monday.

Boyens started 21 games last season, scoring one goal and recording an assist, but he sat out Toronto's first two games this season. When the team visited the Galaxy last weekend, Boyens was not on the 18-man roster.

Carver explained that with the team improving and rookie Julius James nearly recovered from a dislocated shoulder, Boyens no longer fit in

I wonder if we might see him at the nix?

If we build it, they will come...

Red Bull New York are one of the richer clubs and seem to be on the way up.
Good luck to him

I think it is because of all the snorting and farting

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Red Bull coach pretty pleased in what he sees in Boyens:

"Andrews good in the air. The most important thing is he really likes defending, takes pride in his defensive game, decent on the ball. I think he has some good tools, Juan Carlos Osorio said.

Boyens has another match for the Red Bulls' reserves (against Toronto's reserves) on Friday morning US time. Red Bulls coach Juan Carlos Osorio said he is close to making a decision on the 6-foot-4 central defender from New Zealand.
