Chris James seems to be playing really well, he has scored about 6 goals in 12 games I think. And to be fair Tampere United are a professional club and they played against another professional club in sloveakia. He also has some bottle to take all penalties at tampere as well.
Also another thing I disagree with what some people have said about why C.James hasnt gone with the nz Under 23's, I think it is because he would rather be part of champions league games and finnish league games then going to the olympics and losing every game, and not qaulifying.

my opinion based on some of the comments i have read on here about Stu saying he was not upto appropriate fitness levels at the U20's and James not taking it to kindly. Actually Stu proabably doesn't like James either.
Who cares anyway, I guess I should focus on the postives and forget about all the hearsay.
James is playing well at Tampere and looks like he is available for All Whites selection for the World Cup qualifiers. So lets move forward on that.

I wonder how many other Kiwis have scored in the Champions League
I can't think of anyone else other than Winton Rufer...who I think scored some for Werder Bremen in the 1990s, but not 100% on this.
It'd be good for him also if Tampere can repeat the last season's performance and get to the 3rd Quailifying Round.
