Anyone heard anything?

I found this from a guy on a Fulham forum

James played one 90 minute game and two half games during the weekend. He didn't maybe quite produce what was expected, seemed maybe a bit light when challenged and his passing didn't seem very accurate. Of course it takes some getting used to in a new team. He scored a goal from a penalty.

Our head coach hasn't really said this or that about wheter James will be contracted or not, but he wasn't a total success if I read correctly between the lines.

My thought is he'd be better off here.

Finland was never the launch pad people hoped it would be (Raf, Noah, Fozzie, Adam Highfield, Jonah)

How's my driving? - Whine here

Interesting link, it rates Tampere Bay as 87th in the world in terms of World Club Ranking. Fulham are not even on there as they are outside the top 350 clubs in the world.

Looks like it was a good move for James after all?

he has also played the full 90 minutes in their last 2 games and was subbed on in the 46min against RoPS.
Can't understand the match report though.  http://www.tampereunited.com/

Chris has done very well since he came to Tampere United. He has scored 3 goals in 8 matches in Veikkausliiga (the premier division) and a goal in Uefa Champions League (first qualifying round).

At the beginning of the season (in May) he played very few minutes. He played one match in the reserve team TPV (first division).

But in July he has played a lot for Tampere United.

On Saturday he scored two goals (penaltys) and assisted a goal in a league match against RoPS.  Here are some highlights:

Here's his profile on Veikkausliiga.com (the premier division's web site):

Check this out as well:

"Hello to everyone again. The season in Finland is half played (14 out of 26 games for Tampere United), so I thought it might be a good time to report on Chris again.

The season has been pretty bad for the whole team. We took off as one of the favourites but are at the moment laying at 10th out of 14 teams. The table is very even though, and the team has played far better in the last fivr games or so.

Chris didn't get too much time on the field in the first 10 games, apparently our coach thought he's not physically up to it. In the last four games and our first Champions League qualifying games he has taken a position in the first eleven and has been very good. Many of the fans are wondering why he didn't get a chance earlier on.

Chris plays as a box-to-box midfielder and has taken a big role in delivering the ball from the defence to the attackers. He seems to move well and make himself available, which has been a problem for our midfield all season. He takes the teams corners and freekicks when he is on the field and is at the moment our penalty taker as well.

It seems like giving Chris the chance in the opening eleven might still turn our season around as th team has looked very good now that he is playing.

P.S. Chris opened his scoring in the Veikkausliiga (the Finnish premiership) yesterday with a goal from a penalty. Earlier on he has scored for us in the Finnish League Cup and the first Champions League qualifying game against Buducnost Podgorica from Montenegro.

Effectively he now has a goal in all the competitions TamU takes part in except the Finnish cup in which TamU has made it to the quarter finals, so he still has a chance to score."

seems his move to tampere after turning a contract extension at fulham to get first team football has worked out , nothing is better than playing competitive football, tampere reorts in english have him man of the match in 3 out of 4 recent games, and the latest game highlights on tampere site against lahti starring the finnish/liverpool legend jari litmann finished two all and james getting a game top rating 8/10, good time to be hitting top form with wc qualifiers coming up in sep
