Currently the table looks like this. Chile went down 1 - 0 in the altitude stricken heights of Bolivia earlier this morning, while Colombia and Brazil played out a 1 - 1 draw.

Peru currently drawing 0 - 0 with Ecuador. Argentina v Venezuela and Paraguay v Uruguay kick off later this morning.

Here are the remaining fixtures...

It's 2-1 now. Peru likely to be in 5th at the end of this matchday.

I've pretty much accepted that we won't know until the last game on last matchday is finished.

I can see Paraguay taking Uruguay down today, Uruguay have been rubbish the last few games. One of their midfield subs who played half an hour the other day didn't even touch the ball.

2-1 to Peru.

Pretty much rules Ecuador out.

Will that make it easier for Chile in their next game? They've got Ecuador and then Brazil. Argentina have Ecuador last. Playing for pride might mean something comes off.

That result would really make things even more complicated. But agree that it's entirely possible/plausible.
