I was waiting to see if anyone else posted this but my suspicions were confirmed that we just like to whinge a lot.
Massive kudos to SPARC for giving the girls money, nothing less than they deserve. Didn't realise but they have also given a couply hundy thou to the AWs for their campaign.
So credit where it is due to SPARC

Credit to NZF for putting in a good quality proposal.

But proposal itself would've counted for nothing if both the U17 and U20 girls had not performed as well as they did.

Well done to SPARC....$300,000 next year to the wimmin footballers....part of a $700000 3 year package. The gitrls really deserved every cent. The future is very bright for womens football in NZ. I reckon in the age groups we can make last 4 in womens WC. 9 of the under 20 team played inthe under 17.....they will be awesome with a couple of years experiance.

Shame about the under 20 men.......guess they won't be getting any SPARC money soon
