I have emailed NZ soccer requesting that they play Dave Dobbyn's "Welcome Home" before the Vanuatu game. They emailed me back thinking it was a good idea. At this stage they are trying to include it in the pre-game build up. Probably during the final stages of the warm up.
I think it's a pretty appropraite song seeing the AW's haven't
played at home and many are now based overseas. Would be great to
get the crowd joining in?! Could even become the AW's home game
anthem?

more upbeat ... Trust SoccerNZ to think its a good idea to play
Dave Dobbyn, how about sticking with what is played pre-match at
the Phoenix games, apart from Phoenix City (or even that maybe)
