oh well at least it came in a competition that has next to no value!! they re in a re-building phase, after Donadoni's incompetency, I think Lippi is doing a good game.

Of course they should have done better, but has any of you seen the Egypt vs Brazil game? Those guys are on a roll, don't undervalue them! I think they have a shot for the final. They work as a unit, both attacking and defending. They didn't deserve to loose vs Brazil either, so to me a team that loses (unfairly) 4-3 vs Brazil and beats Italy 1-0 is a power house.

Pharaoh nuff to Egypt. They fought hard and deserved the win.

They're quite a likeable team really, except for that left back, he's a right giza. And you have to admire the pyramid formation they play, it really does make for exciting and attractive football.

All in all following today's result and their performance against Brazil, i sphinx they have a decent chance of going all the way in this tournament.

Three for me, and two for them.

Not sure if anyone saw Brazil against Egypt, but look at the highlights. Egypt looked a f&*king good side, they are probably just on form....so not surprised by that result. These are just the goal highlights but Egypt were pretty competitive with Brazil in game play. They string some great passes together and great runs. Check out Egypts second goal. They were doing that to Brazil all day over the park. Just didnt all lead to goals.

Agreed... and then the USA beat them. Football's a funny game.
