Did anybody else watch it? What a game. I really dislike the Brazillian team but thought they'd take it out reasonably comfortably. Full credit to Egypt who kept coming back. Their two goals in 1 minute were amazing, such great play.
I'm happy to see that Egypt are contesting the decision to award the penalty to Brazil. While it was most certainly a handball I doubt the referee or the linesmen actually saw it, and they came to the conclusion that it was a red card and penalty after one of them (or the fourth official) saw the big-screen replay.

i saw the last 25 from the treadmill with no sound - and Egpyt were carving up. A few of them have been watching Ronaldo me thinks. Brazil werent even in the game. And then that idiot hand balled it and the whole Egyptian team acted like idiots

Egypt played bloody well credit to Zidan and Abotrika etc.
Brazil were lucky in the end, they are a great team, Dunga is a terrible coach and doesn't add anything to them. However I still believe they can beat Spain. If they play their true game they can unsetle Spain enough, they just need to tighten that defence.

I don't quite understand people moaning because the referee's saw the handball on the big screen.
If they hadn't have got it there would be an uproar because the officials missed a blatant handball.

Er, because it's illegal to use video replays. Pretty simple. We either use video technology or don't use it at all - not use it every now and then when replays happen to be shown.
Funnily enough it was our old friend Matthew Breeze who made the cock up.
