Personally I think we have a real shot. I've never seen the girls play as well as they are at the moment. And the US are in a bit of a low. It will be a tall order but I think they're up for it! Hopefully Riley's injury isn't bad enough to keep her out.

It's not disgusting. It's logical. Whats the point in watching a match of football where we are getting thrashed with an extremely unlikely outside chance of making the playoffs when we have a competitive team playing in another sport at the same time?

By your reasoning we can expect them to stop showing the rowing halfway through if one our guys is 4th at the time because something else that we are competing in is on.
Not all of us have the bandwidth allowences to watch online.
The whole games coverage by TVNZ has been poor and this just reinforces it.

yeah, just frustrating - i actually really like honest pete.
but it is not a good call at all. i was looking forward to watching the hockey tonight, but you just don't cut coverage half way through at short notice like this.
tomorrow night will be interesting. if we are 2-0 down at half time andd they don't cut the coverage for something else on a parrallel with the hockey, do we start calling them sexist? they have set a benchmark.
