Finally gonna decide the wars the correct way. With football. Last time it was USA over Korean and England over Germany. Can't see that happening again though. I'm picking Kim Jung Il's future assassins over Bush's girls and The Nazi's over the lovely English lasses.

Its no longer a problem.

Yesterday at the Waitak they announced that over 10,000 tickets had already been sold. Hope that there's a good "walk up" as well..

"Oh North Korea... is wonderful"
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

The first goal was very light and should have easily been saved

Could have been left to go in and wouldn't have counted anyway (silly keeper)

Just got back from the final. Excellent occasion and a great game to boot. North Korea deserved it i thought even though it was very tight and could easily of gone either way. I was happy to see North Korea win it though and felt happy for them especially considering what they'll have to go back to in just a few days time.

All in all a wonderful tournament that hugely exceeded my expectations of it and i thoroughly enjoyed working on it every minute.

Three for me, and two for them.

How many Fever lads made it up? I saw a few in fever shirts, one even went as far as to have those incessant thundersticks.

I went..

Quote of the day...[quote]Ri Ui Ham, Korea DPR coach
My players and I are very proud of this result. It was a tough game, as we expected it to be. But even when we went 1-0 down very early in the game, we showed strong character. We have been training very hard for a long time to achieve this, and we became stronger game by game. We came here with no other goal than the victory; our players were in perfect condition and showed it during the whole tournament. Throughout, we have been thinking only about our country and people, so we are happy that we will bring great pleasure to our motherland with this victory.

Yep, I was there. Caught 5 games all up in Auckland and Hamilton. A bus load of us went up for the final from our club. A bit of a laugh when I saw the replay as we were splashed all over the tv screens 4 or 5 times before the Germany England game.

Great day, seemed to have so much freedom in walking around & sitting where ever

Found the reserved England and Germany seats so waited around for the teams, got my photo with Wiltshire so im happy

Then after my mate spotted the NZ team down the front on the other side of the tunnel so we jumped in the spare seats over there.

Over 16,000 too!, fantastic turn out!
