Not wishing to bring down the euphoric atmosphere at the moment, but does anybody realise just why it is that Glen Moss has a 4 match ban? Lets face it, aside from nutting the ref or pulling a Cantona, a 4 match ban is almost unheard of. Apparently the reason Glen Moss' international career is on ice at such a pivotal moment in New Zealand's footballing history, is because New Zealand Football failed to lodge the appeal on time. Worse still, the appeal wasn't lodged because everyone at the NZF office were too busy photocopying their arses at the staff Christmas social( I've used artistic licence there, but essentially it's true). The expectation was that the ban would be reduced to 2 matches on appeal. Given that nobody has a legitimate excuse as to why the appeal wasn't lodged, I reckon heads should have rolled. As Mossy said,' imagine if this had been a Socceroo'. I am totally gutted, we will never get anywhere in NZ if we continue to be so amateur.
