Good job TV3 and Gouldie leading the main news and the sports news and comment on the 10 million windfall from Michael Glading.

TV1 started about Dan Carter's one week ban away from a nothing match against Italy. Then TV1 is reporting that AWs going to use the 3-4-3 formation, commenting on the three prong attack as well as the worries of Bahrain attack in the last game. They burred the whiteboard but not the three dots that is representing the strikers. Nothing about anything else. Not nothing about the crowd number or fan.

TV3 had it as it's leading main story as a great build up with the All Whiteout crowd. The next two 6pm news is going to be the best build up by the looks of it. Good times ahead.

tv3 way better than tv 1.....hahaha tv1 was so funny they had to explain what a formation was....a 4-4-2 is common in blah but in a more attacking 3-4-3 blah to mids can provide up front and go back to a 3-2-5 or 2-3-5....man it was funny they had little models of players and everything.

I have to avoid these things though i might have a stroke before saturday

Excellent coverage from TV3. They even showed bahrain in sydney training. and spoke to there coach. Very Good.

TV1 was average. Rugby still gets number 1 sport with Super 14 and Dan the man. BORING!!! rugby season is pretty much over here. They should focus on the most popular sporting event to New Zealand this year!!

We certainly are fair-weathered friends here aren't we?

The original threads a few weeks ago were "TV3 fails embarassingly".

To be perfectly honest I don't think either network is necessarily more football friendly. It is probably just dependent on how the wind is blowing at the time.

There seemed to be a direct correlation between the TV3 football pundit being on leave and the big FAIL @TV3.

TVNZ is just generally pitiful.

They're only there when Phil's not around

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Great work. Not even in the sport section of the news anymore. Poster up around town in bars saying they are showing the match oh yeah. I know that girl to, and she is possibly the best person to talk football with. and just again Great work
