Be good to somehow get media pressure on the govt to reimburse NZ Football for the lost revenue for the cancelled game against Fiji. After all, govt policy has resulted in the cost.
There's no need to argue over the political legitimacy of
reimbursements either. Since when did politicians operate on
principle alone? Public opinion is what matters to these hoodlums.
So let's put the pressure on.

If they can fund a bloody "Parliamentary Rugby World Cup" team,
they can reimburse New Zealand Football. $9 billion bloody
surplus, no excuses. I'm absolutely livid with the Government
at the moment.

NZ Cricket were compensated that summer when they wouldn't let the
Zimbabwae cricket team come play here.
Although I recall the ICC pinging NZ cricket nearly a million
dollars in fines.
Lets hope as a result Football NZ does cash in
financially....thus helping us draw some better known
nations.
