I'm an Aussie who wants to see NZ qualify for the world cup. I know that the Haka isn't something that's traditionally done for the round ball game but what do you guys think about one being done before kick off in the home leg???
After the national anthems are done get a few maoris out on the field to lead the way with the All Whites in behind and get the whole crowd joining in. I think this could REALLY lift the team, scare the bejebus out of Saudi/Bahrain and create a great atmosphere fromn the very start of the game which can continue throughout.

The White Noise can give it a go on their behalf to welcome the visitors. Imagine the loud sound it would give our middle east opposition. It would stun them a bit in the first few minutes, just enough to score into their goal.
In then a White Noise Haka for every goal scored by the AWs. It would be mad but then it is only a once in a while event. Worth a crack, I think.
