What I meant is that I don't think the issue is European/Asian/South American/Whatever. The refs for these games are always gonna come from the top refereeing tier, so it doesn't really matter where they're from.
 
Good point. I guess we never get a top top referee apart from this type of game so we mistakenly think an asian ref would be bad.

Wouldn't think it would be the same ref for both legs. Be unusual if it was. However, I have been wrong before........

Don't think the referee for the second game's been announced yet.

Unlikely it'd be the same guy, football governing bodies don't tend to follow down that path for a number of reasons.
