All Whites Playoff Key Info - March to the Match, White Out, Chants

If you're at a loose end on Saturday morning, boy have we got you covered.

10:00am - Dirty Little Secret are putting on a breakfast BBQ to get you pumped for the day ahead. Careful not to ruin your white gears.

11:00am - Pop downstairs to Four Kings, bring your Honduras flag and have a few drinks while watching the other, less important, Intercontinental Playoff game.

1:00pm - Immediately following the earlier game, we want to do a big march down to the Backbencher from Four Kings. We'll walk down Taranaki Street, along the waterfront and then up Bunny Street. There will be flags and a drum. A nice little warm up if you like.

1:30pm - Join us at out usual haunt at the Backbencher. They'll be putting on a BBQ too in case you missed the first one. Or just really love sausages.

3:15pm - We're keen for everyone to depart the Backbencher at the same time to participate in a march to the match. Lots of colour, lots of sounds. Get involved. Fire up.

The Peruvian fans are also marching to the game (cant recall the route at this moment) so that will be interesting. Were there many Mexican or Bahranian fans in the last two playoff games?

From memory lots of Mexicans, few Bahraini.

Sounds awesome.  Didn't realise the Aussie game was on the same day.  Leaving at 3:15pm - is that going to be enough time to get through the gates and to the seats etc.  A sell out crowd combined with ticketek tickets which may or may not scan....

Its a 20 min walk and an hour has been allowed for this, I think its enough time.

Looking for a central park to kick a ball around without being told off for having a few beers like last time next to Te Papa. Any suggestions please?

The whole cbd is an alcohol free zone. If you don't mind a hike then one of the parks in kelburn would work

Need to go to one of the suburbs for that. Cbd is a total liquor ban.

I'd suggest a Cable car up to the Salamanca stop but Kelburn and Anderson probably both have cricket on them all day Saturday.

You could try Boyd Wilson turf but if someone has booked it you'll probably get chucked.

Waitangi skate park? Just before Oriental Bay.

Transfering vessels sucks if you're drinking beer.

If Anderson and Kelburn Park are being there's also Boyd Wilson.

If you want to treck further out then Appleton park by Karori Tunnel isn't used for anything (but is pretty boggy) and would be a pretty cheap taxi fare (or two sections on the bus) to the stadium.

I've had the usual kick around a few times with some mates at the Wellington High School field on Taranaki Street so you could try there.
