Seems to be doing ok in the Denmark lower leagues.
Has scored 21 goals in 19 games over the past two seasons. He missed a little over 6 months with a broken leg.
Has scored 10 in 12 games this year and is the 2nd highest goal scorer.
Is the league any good, to be fair I know nothing about its standard. But atleast he's plugging them away that should get him noticed I hope.
I also tried to find another former Knights boy, Michael White but he's left Rhyl now so any word on what he's doing. I always liked his direct attacking style, seemed to be technically quite good.

It would need open grounds for football to impact FFS !!

Is Kris Bright in a similar position to Winston Reid though in that he is a Kiwi but he could play for Norway (or in Winston's case Denmark)?

No.
Reasons.
Reasons.
- Winston has an adopted parent (from memory) who is Danish so has Danish patriality.
- Winston is in the top league of Denmark at a young age.
- Kris Bright while knocking them in, is in the 3rd tier of Norwegian football, a tier which has 4 or 5 leagues. I suspect the standard isn't that much greater than the NZFC based on the Norwegians that were at the Kingz and hyped up from this level.
- Playing well at that level and scoring that prolifically may see him rise a division, but I don't imagine any Norwegian representatives (remembering he is too old for the age group sides) coming from below the Norwegian Premier League
- ...and finally, Kris played at age group level for New Zealand and needed to declare a change before he turned 21. I'll bet he never did.

Don't think Mike's definitely left Rhyl yet. See Rhyl fans website http://lilywhites.northwalesblogs.co.uk/2008/07/michael-white-i-want-to-stay-a.html
As at 15/07/08 states: "Stories of White going 'missing' or losing interest in the club have been dismissed by the player... White explained he has undergone a complex nose operation during the summer which has led to him needing more recovery time than expected... "It's just a case of getting fully fit and then having talks with the club." "
