Picking up from the Fifa ranks thread.
There's a bit of a debate on whether we are better to play as many games as possible (internationally)or try to get decent players into professional teams overseas.
My own view is both.
Showcase talent in international games, to improve the chances of our players being picked up. Of course we need sponsorship to do this, otherwise we end up with the debt we currently have.

This is chicken and the egg. To play Pro in Europe, you either need an EU passport or have played in a large percentage of your nation's internationals over the last couple of years. This is a big reason why many kiwi's fail to make it to Europe. Thus more games for AWs
