In Christchurch, Ryan actually revealed for the first time that Mark Hughes had him lined up to go to Man City if the Julian Lescott transfer fell over last year...
Also mentioned Robbie Savage is the most psycho person he's ever met, but in a nice way (suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder apparently- so likes everything very orderly, but walks around the team caff in his tight white jocks with food in his hair)
Also revealed that Paraguay will have one less star in SA after Ryan went around to Roque Santa Cruz's house before leaving the UK and knee-capped him! (former team mates)
Yeah, I think Ryan's a very funny, laidback, natural, genuine bloke. Comes across well when talking in public.

Is there anywhere I can view the last nights chat? I saw a bit on Stuff and was wondering if the full video was out there

Joleon.

Three for me, and two for them.

He talked about how most players in the PL were genuine good guys, family men, and 'have their image ruined by 5% of players. Like El Hadji Diouf'. I lolled up a storm.

Fantastic evening, he's a very intelligent and funny man, I really enjoyed it. Constant jibes at Allardyce's back-handers, and he said he wouldn't open up an A-League team in Canterbury as the council would be after him like Terry...

I wondered that too

Maybe if AWs jackets actually existed he wouldve worn one. I dont get, how even now, NZF/Nike still refuse to put out a jacket like those of the other WC bound Nike squads.

Smart people would get the same jacket at the Nike store in Dressmart for $60 and slap on a NZF logo for $10 at any good embroidery place.

:)

Three for me, and two for them.

That's brilliant.  He actually said that?

They are available.

Soccershop has them.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Did  have them. From what i understand they were player issue only, and NZF had a handful which they decided to sell, which sold very quickly.

I meant more like the N98 jacket, which Brazil, Portugal, Serbia... basically all the other 'Nike nations' have, and which are for sale... and which can also be bought at general sporting goods stores like Rebel or Stirlings

not the best interview here but still media attention. Even Thingy gets in on the action. You can win a copy of his book too. The question was which country is hosting the football world cup, I think everyone knows the answer
