Full time - 4-0. Irrespective of the previous debates over the quality of the squad, they are getting the job done.
Game against PNG on Sunday should prove interesting - if PNG can replicate their performances against Vanuatu and Fiji they will prove a decent test for the Kiwis.

3-0 over PNG. Another pretty average performance. 3rd goal was class though, great build up and excellent finish. Defence was solid again but midfield sluggish. Number 11 who came on as sub missed about 3 one on ones and an open header from 6 yards, doubt he'll get a kick in the final.

I have to agree with you there. I'm a little worried. Some really great players in there but some really average ones as well. I'm quite surprised

Yeah, pretty half-arsed for a lot of the game, although we were in control thanks largely to two early goals. That number 15 kid was class. But he got really tired and they just left him on for waaaaay to long, espesh with the game wrapped up. And he got injured.. Not sure how serious. That third goal was fantastic. And yeah, number 11... Had some glorious chances! Agreed about the midfield.
Does anyone know if the final vs tahiti will be televised, and if so what time/channel

Elliot found the week long trial at West Brom very intense as he was training from 8.30am to 4pm with 18 year old signed up scholarship players (Elliot is 15) then he then had to train from 7pm to 9pm with the 15 year old Academy team. He did well during his day trainings with the 18 year olds, but unfortuneately he was only being assessed during his evening trainings with his own age group, by which time he was extremely tired & unable to perform at his best. Feedback from West Brom was Elliot did well & was on par with other team members. However, he did not show them anything oustanding, which is what they needed to sign him up on a scholarship. They felt he was capabable of much more than he demonstrated during the 15 year old evening sessions, which was disapointing as they had to asses him on what they had seen. Elliot then went on to trial for 2nd division club Plymouth Argyle, where he had attended the academy as a 12 year old, and had a very sucessfull trail. He also trialed with 3rd division club Yeovil with the 18 year old scholarship team, where he again had a sucessful trial.
