Reminds me. Can anyone remember the National League player
(early 80s) who gave up the game COMPLETELY after being away
training with the All Whites for a few days? Something to do
with what he termed "abuse" and others termed
shouting....
you're not thinking of peter henry or billy harris? they
both walked out on fallon, but didn't give up completely. i'm
less sure of this one, but did kevin hagan do the same?

No sympathy for them at all!!!
Ive followed this age group throughout the Feds tournaments
and Nike Cup and I can honestly say that what has happened to them
at the World cup is disgraceful. This age group was supposed
to be the age group that was to be the best ever that New
Zealand has produced but sadly the people in charge have full
cocked it up...they shud be made accountable.
