New Zealand Sport and Recreation Awards Finalists Announced
On 24 February, New Zealand Sport and Recreation Awards Judging Panel met in Auckland to select finalists and winners in six categories � Event Excellence, Project Collaboration, Communication Excellence, Innovation Excellence, Commercial Partnership and Leadership Excellence.
The panel, of Sir Wilson Whineray (Chairman), Sir John Wells, Sue McGregor, Peter Dale, Selwyn Maister, and Peter Miskimmin, thank all entrants for their participation in the awards. Overall the entries demonstrated outstanding commitment and passion for the development of sport and recreation in New Zealand.
Congratulations to all finalists. The winners will be announced on 18 April 2011 at the New Zealand Sport and Recreation Awards Dinner (venue to be confirmed).
