People can argue all you want about the strength of a league, but it makes zero sense that Hudson says he discounted his form because of the league when he is picking Boxall. I agree with JD that Brockie is much better when playing as a front two (but then so is Smeltz I think), and explain his struggles under Ernie. But why not say that? That's a perfectly fine reason.
And as Stephen Holloway said, he played Moses Dyer and T H-W in Northern Premier League on the weekend and that was not especially quick.
