Can anyone name me the NZ national team coaches going back?

I'm talking 30s, 40s and 50s.

Most of the team photos I have seen from those times refer to Managers and selectors.
You collecting these for a reason or just to keep people awake

There's a few names that can be harvested from the NZFA centenary book "An Association with Soccer" (wonder if they'd use that title today?).

Mr B L Salmon seemed to have a prominent role as a selector in the 20s/30s.

The same book lists national coaches, but starts that list with Ken Armstrong in 1957.

You do realise you've interrupted my late night work session!

I know, I know, its serious!

Well spotted Wibbler.
I actually have the 1952 edition written by J Houston
Looking thru your history I see you played junior football for Villa and Onslow
What year was that and did you go on to senior

Yes, should be May 1952 edition (covered the 1951 season).

Played junior football during the 1980s; played senior club football in Canterbury (not for first team, although I have played against other clubs' first teams).

One of the selectors GW Smith is related to Ryan Nelsen.
