Thought I would start a new topic for people who may be going to games at the Olympics. Talk about ticketing etc etc.

NZF have just realeased this - would be interested to see where I could get my hands on a Cat C ticket from. Im cheap and am working on a budget. http://www.nzfootball.co.nz/index.php?id=1058

Can't seem to find the 2nd page of the order form anywhere which talks about the second choice and what all that means.

Looking at it, I will probably try and get to the Womens game v GB, the Egypt game at Old Trafford and the Brazil game.

Others?

I am very keen on the game against Belarus at Coventry and will try through the official site in May when the tickets go on sale.

I am also going to the gold medal final at Wembley.

Myself and frankie mac are both in.  I'm deffo going to go to old trafford and would like to get up to coventry after work (from London)
But have no tickets at this stage.

I'm thinking that apart from Brazil game should be easy to come by??

Aresenal, I think this is the fourth thread you've told everyone about your gold medal ticket - quite pleased with that are you?

The first sentence in this thread states 'Thought I would start a new topic for people who may be going to games at the Olympics. Talk about ticketing etc etc.'

I am interested in which four threads I have stated this fact in though, so feel free to point them out.

Cool - gag fail both ways methinks.

Have you looked up train times etc?  And would you come back the same evening??

the wife was working in Coventry for a while last year, and although she never mentioned specifically going to the football station, she did say the whole place was a pain in the ass to get to via train from London.

Yeah I'd just booze train it there and back. F*ck staying in Coventry.

Looks like a 523pm on fast train out of Euston would be about right. Nightmare slow journey back but would be looking at 1131pm to be on the safe side...

An hour journey there costs the princely sum of 60. Only 7.50 on the way back though but 1 hour 44 mins (via Virgin Trains).

Hey guys!

My travel company has bought blocks of Olympic tickets for Mens football, and have put together packages. By buying these packages/tickets through us, you get to sit with friends, and other kiwis, to create an awesome atmosphere.

Including tickets, trains from london, and supporters pack (tees, flags etc).

You can buy packages for all games, or individual ones.

See the link below for all options and games! Including the double header at Old Trafford.
http://www.eventelephant.com/londonnzsupportersclub

Note that you can buy match tickets and supporters pack seperately, if you decide to find your own way to the ground.
This is by far the best way for everyone to sit together, as we have bought blocks of tickets!

email: dan@uksctravel.com for any questions/info... Also, email me for itinerary of the trips.

Cheers,

Dan

I grabbed some match tickets already, otherwise I would consider it. What trains are you on?

With a mark up. I have tickets to all mens games and two of the womens games. Am excited to see the shadow All Whites. Is anyone else planning to attend all mens and possibly womens games?

When you include pre-drink, supporters pack etc... And you only have to turn up - and everyone sits together... it's not really a mark up...

email me: dan@uksctravel.com for itinerary etc...

Slight change of plan - getting the 09:20 train to Manny on the Sat morning - it is £6 more but I am the kind of high flyer that doesn't worry about those sorts of things

Depends who it is for.  For Ali Reilly? no problems at all.  For you Greenie?  I can pass you Normo's address.

Yeah those sound about right to me.

By the way, final round of ticket sales start in about an hour (not that NZ v Belarus in Coventry on a Thursday night will be all that popular but anyway!).

I am not too bothered about tickets, as I cannot see the games vs Belarus or Egypt selling out (especially at Old Trafford).
