Hello kiwi football fans.

I am writing to you directly from Portugal, to show my support for the All Whites for the Saturday match. It is probably a more important match than the one against China in 1981 for you guys, and I think it is a very important moment for football to establish itself as a popular sport in NZ. And it really can't get any better: at home, less than a month after the under-16s managed to reach the knockout stages in Nigeria, and just a few months after the 1st point in an intercontinental competition. I visited your wonderful country back in July, and although rugby is still the national game (I bought an All Black shirt, please don't kill me  ), I was happy to see that football is becoming more popular, and I also have a Phoenix shirt that I bought in Wellington.
I really want you to go all the way to South Africa, to show the world that Oceania football does exist, and specially because the WC needs teams like you, teams you really don't expect to see there, but then actually turn ou to be a pleasnt surprise.

Come on the All Whites!

Although to be honest, it looks it's warmer there in late autumn than it is here in late spring...

Is it Spring? I thought we gave Spring and Summer a rest this year and we're back into Autumn.

True...sorry about that.

We're actually heading into Winter here, and after an unusually hot October temperatures are finnaly entering in to the low 20s-high 19s... You should be heading into a mild summer right? I always associate your climate with the on they have in the UK.

Similar, but slightly less extreme. More just consistently windy and raining, with 5-10degrees in winter and about 15-20 in summer. Pretty consistently mild and miserable all round.

Allegedly

At the height of Summer it gets to 35 degrees, but then the next day might be 15 degrees. But expect 20 or so (+/- 5) degrees in summer.
