I've just noticed that we (AWs) have only won one game since we beat Bahrain back on the 14th Nov 09. 
 
Thats 19 months ago. 
 
I'm glad that I was at that win (Serbia) but ignoring our three world cup draws and the result against Honduras this does amount to one of NZ's worst runs of form.

"but ignoring our three world cup draws and the result against Honduras this does amount to one of NZ's worst runs of form." - They are some pretty big things to ignore aren't they?  And beating Serbia is a huge result for us.  But I agree, we need to do better.  NZF needs to keep scheduling games against good opposition but also against some weaker teams for the sake of confidence.

19 months is also misleading,given we don't play that often. Some pretty massive world cup results to ignore in the analysis too.

Never mind,we'll be playing island nations soon enough!

My thoughts exactly. We should be looking at playing more teams who will fall into the 5th placed Asia / 6th place S America catergories.

I think we should be looking at scheduling one good opponent and one at our level every international period. Japan + China was perfect.

yea so our rank on the FIFA World Rankings is that much more accruate! See the England National Team play in almost every FIFA window, and prediction on how they are as a side are a whole lot easier!
 
Which is pretty poor in the moment, being winless in 4 games at Wembley, not acceptable
