Does anyone know a group of guys who came dressed as '82 players wearing orange shirts (i have no idea why orange), sitting in aisle 27?

I have something to their advantage ... particularly "Bobby Almond"

They were near us, they all had Van Hatten on the back of their shirts and some had big wigs, does this ring any bells with someone who knows a bit more about Frank?

Thanks for all the feedback .. I dont think they are quite the same group as Elmo describes .. they all had different player names on the back - but the wigs sound the same.

Anyway, it is just to send email a couple of photos I took of them with the real BA who seemed quite delighted to meet his impersonator.

Frank Van Hattum came from New Plymouth and played for Moturoa, who, if memory serves me right, wore orange shirts.
This may also explain the gumboots. (Dairy Farmers)

Does anyone know them and have photos of them outside the stadium before the game?

The Flying Kiwis and the Orange Army had an awesome chant off with the Bahrainies outside 60mins before kick off. Id love to see any photos or videos?
Oh Wellington is wonderful. We got the wind, the rain and the phoenix. Oh Wellington is wonderful.

Not at all .. v well behaved!  I just took 2 pix of them with Bobby Almond and we were going to get their email at the end of the match but in the euphoria I never saw them again ... that's them though, yes they did have the Wellywood logo I think.
