What are peoples ratings from todays game?

Marinovic - 7.5 - Solid I thought with some outstanding saves, the goal and a couple minor handling errors the only negative's

Reid - 8.5 - Showed why he is so good in the EPL. Outstanding. The best player on the field IMO.

Boxall - 8 - Extremely solid and tough at the back. A very good showing from the big fella.

Durante - 8 - Very, very composed performance from Dura. Back to his best.

Graham - 7 - Good once again, very solid first couple games. Will be interesting who gets the nod between him and Roux.

Colvey - 7 - Solid throughout, a few nice touches.

McGlinchey - 7 - Did well in a deep position, think would benefit from having Tuiloma beside him breaking up the play.

Lewis - 7.5 - Did his job very well and once again proved hes capable at this level.

Rojas - 6.5 - Was rather quiet.

Patterson - 7.5 - Battled away for entire 90, and got reward with the goal. Quite intelligent player, think he has a very big future ahead of him.

Wood - 8 - Proved why he's been playing at a high level in England. Always threatening, gave the USA defence a torrid time.

Barbarouses - 8 - Brilliant impact, gave their defence hell.

Dyer - 6.5 - For all the negativity surrounding him he did his job. Looked to get involved and a couple nice touches. Do not get why he is designated scapegoat.

Fenton - 6 - Needs to show more if he wants to remain in the side.

Brotherton - 5.5 - Not ready for this level.

Themi - 6.5 - Did his job when he came on.

Hudson - 9 - Outstanding tactics. Set the team up well to compete and win possession high up the pitch. Proving doubters wrong.

Would be interested to hear what your ratings for Mexico as well.

Marinovic 6.5 - A few superb saves but also let in a soft goal. Dropped the ball a couple of times in dangerous areas. Not his best.

Graham 5.5 - Looked a bit leggy after his good performance against Mexico.

Durante 7 - Did quite well; good signs for the Nix. He's good playing alongside Reid, as he knows he has cover if he pushes up to try and intercept.

Reid 8.5 - Man mountain at the back. Would've conceded a couple if not for him.

Boxall 7 - Big fan of the Box. Great assist with his face.

Colvey 6 - Did OK. Not great. We have better options at FB.

Lewis 5.5 - Not sure what he brings to the team. Every time i've seen TWH he's showed more than Lewis.

Mcglinchey 7.5 - Did superb in a very difficult position.

Rojas 5 - Anonymous, only touched it a few times but made a few good interceptions.

Patterson 7 - Thought he was great overall for a 19 year old that doesn't even play senior football yet. Not as advanced in his development as Kosta, but could get to that level if he gets enough gametime.

Wood 8 - Great hold up play; was much better than Altidore down the other end.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dyer - 6 - touch of an elephant but ran hard and made a few important blocks ; made a great tackle that was incorrectly called as a foul that could've led to something.

Fenton - 5 - Not good, has really regressed since a couple of years ago. Isn't there physically.

Themi - 6 - Love the bloke; takes no shark. Made a few important headers towards the end.

Cameron - hope he's ok, assume he got injured.

You can't give Marinovic 7.5; no matter what he did for the rest of the game THAT goal should ensure no more than a 6. And Fenton a 4. Has gone from our great hope to someone who struggles in every game he plays. Reid, Boxall and Wood should be 9 or 10 each. They were superb.

Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

I thought Patterson was a little wasteful in possession. I like the look of him, but want to see more from him at senior level.

Very accurate I reckon. I'd give Reid a 9 though.

I'd mark McGlinchey lower - his delivery from setpieces is pretty woeful. We have some big timber so need better delivery. Some of his freekicks/corners are of the Arran Lines-variety. Thought Dyer was actually not too bad - perhaps there is a future for him after all.

Do people think any MLS scouts would have noticed a few players, and circled their names in the match programme?

He's 19 - scored a goal, could've had a couple more. Whole team was wasteful in possession except Reid.

one thing that impressed me about Marinovic was his composure on the ball. Moss just hacks it first time whereas Marinovic tried to keep possession. He could have come unstuck at one point but did well to avoid the tackle.

Not a huge point but as good a shot stopper that Moss is the modern keeper also needs to be able to act as a sweeper and keep the ball. It's an area I'm interested to see Moss develop.
