pretty average nzfc seasons... both on the bench for the elimination final...
will they be axed from this year's world cup squad?
we only have a small handful of pros; half of which seem to have fallen out of the all whites scene for one reason or another, so who will step up to provide cover?

I think in the case of Soupy, he was injured but he came back lacking in confidence. He was playing well, got injured and then his old man has gone. I think Clive is actually good for Jeff as far as some father-son combinations go. Would he be in an All Whites team? Depends on who the other midfielder is because Jeff is a distributer and needs a bal winner beside him.
James has had a dodgy groin for about 18 months now I think? I don't know if he would be picked in my all white team because I don't think right back is his best position and is better suited to a right half/winger. I also think there are guys ahead of him in the pecking order at All White level in both positions.
Unfortunate because they both have their good sttributes and bad ones.

i rate both of them and have been happy with them being AW squad members - pritchett showed the benefits of being a specialist wing back when he replaced christie against vanuatu and campbell is a very good creative player.
guess that i'm just a little concerned that two of the nzfc's five current All Whites have had what can only be described as poor seasons.
any suggestions as to who might step up from the nzfc to make the next world cup squad?

Sean Douglas :-)
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Cole Peverly has looked really good for Hawkes Bay. Slight issue with some silly fouls in dumb areas but has looked composed and would be 1 of HBs best players. Would have walked into any other starting XI I think based on form and composure.

Pritch was initially named in the starting 11 for the game and re-injured himself during the warm up.

both players i feel should still be in the squad, pritch was injured and as proak said was in the satring 11 for the game in the weekend but pulled out before kick off, campbell was doing well in the start of the season, got injured, his old man left and never really got the game time and when he came on did not look as good as he was at the beggining..lacking something, but still created well. both good players with up and down seasons this year, bit harsh to not include them for that
