Will the Wellington City Council be promoting the game with before and after game activities.
There are a hell of lot of people coming from other parts fo the country. So a bit of money will be injected into the local economy.

dunno if this is in the right place, saw one shot for glory flags on cobham drive and calabar road. Gives me tingles!

Great start...need to see more though.

Anyone else spotted anything similar?

Must be wierd for NZ football to promote the game but not needing to sell more tickets. Has that ever happened before?

Its no longer a problem.

Never, simply because NZF has never sold out a game before.

But the promotion despite a sellout is necessary anyway - creating fever/hype around your event is important regardless of whether there are further tickets to sell or not.

I fully expect to see Wellington decked out in football themed decorations and window displays when I arrive next Thursday night.

I live in Sydney and even we are getting promotions on tv about the one shot for glory.
Sounds fantastic, i was at the Beckham game in Wellington last year and was amazed how many people turned up.

Like i was saying all the sport chanells are getting behind the allwhites, it seems that we are getting the game live and two repeats the next day.

I hope NZ qualify, would be great to see us neighbouring countries in a pool together in the world cup, especially if NZ beat Australia coz i can give my mates a hard time bout it.
