I've read a lot of negative comments about Pritchett based on the Wales game and reckon most of its unfair.

Yes occassionally he gave the ball away, in the attacking third but atleast  he got up there, our right midfielder Christie couldn't.

But more importantly his main job is defence, he tracked and covered weell, was suprisisngly good in the air and only made one real fcuk up the back header.

And most importantly bot goal did not come down his flanks, and neither did most of Wales most promising attacks.

He sgould be looked at for the nix, at the moment Chrisites our right back and im scared of that.

TBH, I'm close to preferring Plodder.

Pritchett was good winger in his Kingz days, but has failed to impress me as a Right back.

Pritchett looked ok to me. He did better than I expected. I agree , it was good that he pushed up a couple of times. He pushed the ball past the welsh a couple of times and played with confidence. Tony Lochead on the other side didn't seem as brave and also slipped up a couple of times.

Pritchett did seem to hestitate a couple of times, but he can work on that with Ricki. I would like to see him get in the phoenix or another A-league club. Deserves it.

If we build it, they will come...

I've always got the feeling with Pritchett that he's one of those players who always looks like he might be worth a shot when playing at club (i.e. NZFC) level but is not quite capable of making the step up to the next level.
Sort of like Darren Huckerby in England. Great at Championship level but step up one and he gets lost.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

He's got pace - which Plodder doesn't have and we need at the back - I'd give him a go. Both Welsh goals came down the left not the right.
