He played so well against Bahrain.  Top bloke.  Was wondering a few things, how long is his contract with Plymouth Argyle and do you think he'd ever consider the Phoenix?

The fact that Smeltz, rotting in Halifax, did so well in the a-league becoming arguably the best striker in the league made me think what Fallon could do.  He's playing and scoring goals several divisions above where Smeltz played/sat on the bench.

Chances are this has been covered since his winner the other night so mods feel free to move/lock this as necessary.

do you really think he would want to leave Plymouth where he has been set up for the last 5 or 6 years, playing at places like http://sportingdirect.co.uk@stjamespark.com/mickeymouse.html in front of 50,000 people to play in front of 4,000 people at Cold Goast?

And that is before we start looking at things like wages, number of churches, better looking women, easier access to decent holidays, etc

Well he has a wife, only needs to go to one church and in NZ there's pretty easy access to a good holiday in the form of Queensland.  So wages would be the only thing out of what you listed (I'm aware of many other factors, including wanting a few thousand kilometres between him and Kevin) but he could be marquee, we could dump the Fred idea.

Plymouth are just above the relegation zone so maybe if they plummet a few divisions we could have a go.

Very wishful thinking, I know.

Yeah and the quality of opposition. And higher chance of being picked up by a bigger club

Screw bigger clubs if you have the Phoenix.

Everybody knows that.

You can say he'd be great because Smeltz was a great success from the Conference leagues and Fallon is Championship. But Greenacre has come from much higher than Smeltz yet isn't setting the league alight. Nonetheless, Fallon would be an awesome signing.

The Phoenix fan in me would love to have him here, however the NZ football fan in me would prefer he stays over in the Championship. The more Kiwis plying their trade in respectable overseas leagues, the better

Fallon's just the sort of player Greenacre needs alongside him to do best. Definately Marquee material. Let's just hope he doesn't do a wrong Aloisi, put his country through to their second world cup, comes to the A-League and turns to sh*t.
You know we belong together...

Sounds a bit like John Aloisi to me. Should stay at Plymouth, though I actually heard that he was on the outer there..

His manager has given him good rapts as of late, so i do not expect to see him go any where. I think he has three goals in his last four games??

Maybe when he hits the early 30's he might want to o a year or two here, but not till then.

Hmm yes, I'm sure many parts of England have better looking women than the Gold Coast.

Anyway, I rate it a solid 0% chance he'd come to the Phoenix also.

Guarantee* if Kevin moved back to England Rory would be on the next flight to join the Phoenix.

*Can't guarantee this at all.
