good to see that according to the stadium rules  ther eare no instrumnets permitted
 
that needs to be enforced - to extract every ounce of benefit from home advantage
 
they can stick their drumming uniqueness where the sun don't shine and the camel don't drink
 
i don't want flavour - i want complete and utter domination of our nosie over their's
 
why should we allow them any amount of comfort from 'known' stimuli - the environmnet needs to be as alien as possible

The Malayan sun bear? Really?  I was there just before the Gold Coast game and it was the best part of the zoo... How sad.

actually does anone here play a double reed instrument?? i have a zourna so i could counter with terrible playing!!!!! just i need a knew reed....and a quick how to play a double reed instrument for dummies lesson hahaha

Why be embarassed? If folks give a damn about seeing football and its support grow - plus more noise supporting the AWs going to glorious victory tonight - they'll be prepared to compromise fundamentalist principles so that more new people can be brought in. Its happening in development programmes all across sport in a whole heap of ways. At least people will feel that 'football' is trying to include them. The more the better.

Although I think the chant sheet is a good move for this match I do agree that the concept is an admission of failure of a sorts.

However for a sell out match in a non-football culture country (admittedly in the pride of the A-League city) these embarrassing things are needed and will serve a good purpose if it gets a good part of the crowd behind the hardcore WN.

Different if there are regular games for a culture to build (and be sustained by high attendance). Maybe that will happen for the next WC qualifying rounds.
