So happy right now.
:-)
Can anyone explain to me tickets for South Africa:

I suspect I'd be wanting a team specific ticket, but still trying to figure out how much that'd cost.

How timely was Air NZ's move to, last month, announce a code-share agreement with South African Airways, meaning South Africa is just two flights away - Auckland to Perth on Air NZ, Perth to Johannesburg on SAA.
Qantas also have a two-stop strategy, via Sydney, so if you fancy spending fourteen hours on a 747, by all means, hop aboard a flying kangaroo! :-))
Cathay Pacific (via Hong Kong) and Singapore Airlines (via Singapore) also fly from Auckland to Jo'burg, while Emirates go there via Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane then Dubai.
Indeed, Cathay offer the best deal at present - $2855 return departing June 9.
Cheers,
JR
