From someone who won NZ Soccer sportswriter of the year, should never be allowed to write about soccer again.

 

What happened to promotion of the game? What happened to congratulating the Oly-Whites?? Wishing them good-luck?

 

This could be the first time NZ could be represented in Soccer, something we should embrace!

 

I only heard about the Olympic squad two weeks ago?? How come no-one is writing any articles about camps/up and coming games? I wouldnt mind checking them out!!

as to reasons for lack of coverage, the fact that the official press release from FNZ only appeared after some squad members had been anounced in two separate daily papers suggests to me that more could have been done  by FNZ to publicise the squad
