Thought I would start a thread for people in the UK to post any information for where to watch/listen/follow the Allwhites for the warm up games and then the WC (Particularly the warm up games, apparently the World Cup itself is going to be on TV)

The Australia game will kick off at 10am (i think) as i don't have enough leave to warrant taking a half day to watch an average internet stream, I'm planning on listening live to Radio sport on the internet (it will look like I'm working). I've emailed them to check if they are covering it, but i think if they aren't, there should be an australian channel doing it available online - anyone know?
I wonder if one of the walkabouts is going to get a tape of the game and replay it at some stage?

Well, Piney is heading over to Melbourne to do the radio commentary, so it's pretty safe to assume Radio Sport will be covering the game.

Pretty sure there's TV coverage of these games, so at the very least you should be able to find a stream on the interwebs.

yeah, i'm just unrealistically hoping that someone is going to come on here and say that it is on some obscure tv channel that xxx pub is showing so that i don't have to settle for scratchy internet coverage!
according to this website - http://www.livesoccertv.com/countries/new-zealand/ bet365.com are streaming the Serbia game, and as they presumably have legitimate rights to do so, should be a decent stable stream. does mean creating an online betting account....the beginning of my end.
site also says fifa.com are streaming it - this i doubt as the fifa website says nothing of the sort, and they also said the same about the mexico game which turned out untrue.

OK, sorry for replying to myself, but maybe there are some casual observers hanging on my every word....
Shepherds Bush Walkabout is showing the game live on Monday morning, and then showing a replay at 7pm
Finchley Road Walkabout is showing game live, and then a replay at 6pm.
I suspect the live coverage will be putting a stream off the internet on the big screen, not sure if they'll be able to source a decent copy for the replay in the evening....

I might be keen to head down to one of the Walkabouts (*shudder*) for the replay on Monday evening.
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked

Sod's law states that if i don't listen live, someone at work will find out the result and tell me - so as i have a prior engagement, albeit an easily cancelable one, i'm going to be something of a fairweather supporter and chose whether i watch the replay after i've listened to it live!
i think if i go, i'll probably go for Finchley road - slightly better transport wise, and less *shudder*. a bit tight to get there for 6pm though. if i find out temple are doing it, i'll go there.

I might head to the Finchley Road walkabout this evening for a replay of the game, so no posting in here anything about the result or the game itself.

Roger that. I'll probably also go along to Finchley Road, I'm wearing a blue business shirt with white pinstripes if you want to say hello. my being there doesn't neccesarily give away the result, i'll probably go regardless of the result, just want to see us play again - depends more on if i get out of my other commitment.
Tempted to not listen and wait for the replay, but I just know if i do that, the Aussie league fan in my office will take a sudden interest in football.

i think internet streams is all that is on offer for this one, i'm going with bet365.
i'd say that if any walkabouts etc are offering this one, that it will just be an internet stream too, and probably with classic australian rock rendering the commentary unhearable.

just had a look at walkabout website and it doesn't get a mention - plus it is competing directly with the super 14 final and the league 1 playoff final.
I'm happy enough watching at home (potentially testing bet365 resolution on a new TV that i might buy today - i must be the perfect consumer, buying a new TV ahead of the WC), but if you find anywhere, post it on here and i could be tempted out of my cave. i'd be pretty surprised if anyone was playing it really.
