Went to Aussie for a bit i believe after Kingz and Uni-Mt now at Auckland City
guess he wont get a game for NZ unless he is Phoenix reserve keeper!!
Why is it that Moss can be 1st choice for Phoenix and playin bloody well most of the time but
cant get a game for NZ but the guy he is keeping on bench at Phoenix can?

I think because the Phoenix keeper actually has to be in good form whereas the teams the All Whites have played in the World Cup qualifiers are nowhere close to the quality of an A-League team.  Hence the second keeper at the Phoenix (or even the third!) can play against them.

Obviously not the official reason.

Things have changed geographically in NZ football. In the past it was quite acceptable for National Coaches based in Auckland to select from the region. It is quite clear now, that if an Auckland NZFC player wants to stand any show of selection in the future, he probably has to come down to Wellington and compete for a place in TW, get promoted to the Phoenix and hopefully on to the All Whites.

It's the way football is going in NZ.

Still doesnt explain why Herbert is using All Whites as Phoenix reserve team?
Actually feel a bit sorry for Moss playin best football of his career and no international recognition?  doesnt matter who you are playin an international cap should still be highest honour for a player

Moss may be playing the best of his career but that still dosent make him a good keeper.

Looking at the team squads on the NZFC website and also point out that I'm not an Auckland supporter, please explain how ACFC have 3 (Sigmund, Pritchett and Campbell) and TW have 1 (Daniel Ellensohn)

You still on about that? Let is go, you're only proving your foolishness.
