Thank you Terry for your financial and emotional investment in the Phoenix
If it weren't for you and your commitment to Wellington and NZ football:
the play-off would not be in Wellington
the Nix core of the squad would lack the experience of having played together regularly
and so the home (of football) advantage would have counted for less
and we would have less to build on after qualification (touch wood - not the 17 yr old version) in that The Nix is ongoing after South Africa is all over

Curse you! But nah, its a much better atmosphere than what they got up here. Good job

Hey and don't forget big ups to NZF for actually pricing the tickets well. They could easily have got greedy and tried to sell them for $80+ per head

yep good call by NZF at the time, though i bet the sell out has them thinking they read the market wrong
better this way though! a sell-out to the organised and those that follow football rather than just those with plenty of spare cash

Many thanks Terry from an NZ Sydney FC supporter.
You've set a benchmark in A-League management commitment.

Thank you Terry and New Zealand Football.
But you know what?
Thanks us. Yellow Fever. The supporters. Wellingtonians. We the fans have built this event up to what it is. Through our support of the Phoenix, our passion for the local game and determination to raise the profile of football in this country despite the struggles against the media, the government and the general "pro-rugby anti-football" culture.
We've achieved something truly great.
