Ok, here is my labour of love. Took days of part-time planning, and then 4 days of full on work to see it to fruition, but I hope you guys enjoy it.

Oh, and please share your banners with the rest of us by posting your AW support here for us to enjoy :)

P.S. The Arabic text reads (loosely) "New Zealand torments Bahrain, and Bahrain suffers/complains". The text has been reviewed by Mr. Bahrain from the forums and has been family friendly approved :)

Get this - it even RHYMES in Arabic too!

But wait - there's more!

I had an old "All Blacks" flag that I was going to print out "Whites" in Times New Roman and stick over the word "Blacks" but decide that was only funny in my head.

Instead I used leftovers from the bedsheet and made white flags (so it is more suited to the White Out occasion anyway) for the kids that will be in attendance in our group.

Simply blew up a fern in and printed it out on 4 A4 sheets in order to create a stencil.

Dowel was $4.05 for 1.8m at Mitre 10 Mega

Credit for the Arabic goes to a local friend - he even made it RHYME while keeping the essence of the meaning (which is not easy to do as so much gets lost in translation).

I painted the Arabic myself though after given the phrase.

When I ran the text past Mr. Bahrain (YF), he described the words as "beautiful". Thanks to Mr. Bahrain for his second opinion on the text, and for correcting an error I made when I first painted it on

just knocking my surprise one together now. Will get a groan from 95% of you. I'll knock out one or two others though prob. So question - how many years of hurt (as in 3 lions) ? 26,27?

I'm not entirely sure when they qualified for 82 though.

The 1.8m was cut in half so yip, under the stadium limit published on their website

was gonna do one '28 yrs of hurt, never stopped us dreaming' but just spoke to Marius who didn't knnow what I was on about cos he didn't know the words to 3 Lions, so I think I will abort that one (or is he abnormal?)
