Hmmmm, disappointing to have no reference to "2010 world cup" or something!!!

I'd be keen, since I can't get the current away jersey in XL size, sold out pretty much everywhere
I'm sure there'll be a WC badge on each arm side anyway
I hope Nike continues to be the shirt manufacturer cos I like the tick sensation, haha

Haha dead keen to get a retro 80's one too!

I'm assuming they'll have the number in the centre of the front too.

All the Nike world cup kits are being released today.
The one's above a just mock ups, and not the final versions.
Check out Nike on facebook for the details, & to have a good laugh at the aussies.

Kit is out and images are online, but I am blocked from posting them here.
Nellie represented us at the kit launch, and they launched it using the black/black/black away kit.
No change from previous really except updated socks and white lines on the shorts.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

It pains me to say this, but the Serbian one is the secks. Think our white one will look really good too.
The Oz and Slovenian ones are dreadful, not a fan of the American one either.el grapadura2010-02-26 15:57:49

Apparently Nike own Umbro, that's why the England away kit is shown. I reckon the Portugese away kit looks good:

I really like the black kit but I'm surprised they didnt go with there traditionaly all white. could this be a ploy to market the all most all black into its name sake? Would of loved to see him in all white.

Questions re the 3News story.
1) How dumb does Vince Grella sound (rhetotrical question)
2) Why all away kits except Brasil.
3) Why was England the only non-Nike kit. Do Nike own Umbro or was it because it was in London and only England where Umbro?

Its no longer a problem.

Its the away strip.

Pretty sure Darkhorse was referring to why the black kits was at the launch, instead of the home strip.

With the kiwi rugby league team wearing black - makes a logical away choice imho. That oz kit is, frankly, horid.
PS: bet adidas and the nzru are spewing!

our one looks nice
agreed the Aussie one looks dumb with that yellow line
Dutch one looks nice although it's similar to the V shape design to United's and Victory's idea
I quite like the Slovenian one
Portugal one looks a bit odd as well
and USA one is probably the worse
but then again that's my opinion

In case you missed it. The Home Kit is available for sale here!

Fair enough, it was the away kit launch I guess so the home kit could be unveiled in the home country - my question is, why is Brazil's home kit being revealed here?

On the news last night the reporter mentioned a van in England was hijacked containing the new England strips. Some rather large street value was quoted.

Didn't you know...!?
It is a FIFA rule that Brasil will always have 1st preference on the home strip, and the rest of us must wear the away kit.
Oh Nike/FIFA's Brasilian obsession.
BTW guys. I provide a pic of the new home strip, and not a thank you in site!!!

Fair enough, but this is an All White kit BEFORE it's actually released!
I for one, was pretty excited by it, and Im not even a Kiwi!
There's still talk here about the official release, and how stock might be limited, hence my reason to put these up. I know if someone was offering me the same deal but in Green and Gold, I'd be stoked!

thanks!
still looking to customize my shirt if that option is available
funny that the website got the facts right for this... "For the first time in their history The All Whites have qualified for the World Cup. Having beat Bahrain in a play off to qualify morale will be high going in to the biggest tournament of their lives.
A tough group awaits them with current champions Italy, Paraguay and Slovakia all to play. English based players Ryan Nelsen, Chris Killen and Rory Fallon will all need to show their experience of the playing at the top level.
Show your support for the New Zealand team by getting this fantastic new Nike Away Shirt."

also another link I found http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag_4_5/football/product_browse.aspx?cid=11878&mnuid=11878
this is a great website specialises more in football and have been purchasing shirts and accessories from them for a long time, fast despatch.
I checkthed the exchange rates, prices are about the same could be down to shipping cost, shame they don't do bulk orders, otherwise can save us heaps of money, I'm sure these will sell like hot cakes just before the WC

ive bought stuff from prodirect before and theyve been great. shipping was cheap, took about a week or so. they do personalisation aswell, you just need to email them. they use official nike print which makes stuff look a lot better aswell.
edit: they must have simulated a game situation with this photo, this cant be a legit action shot...?

all the nike shirts are made from recycled plastic bottles. approx 8 bottles per shirt. interesting.
