Article wreaked of ineptitude.  I didn't bother reading all of it.  Lochhead as sweeper?  Why?  Sigmund at leftback?  Terrible.

LOL

He even has no Nelson and Moss is back from suspension apparently. Talk about using wet pant material. We know more about the Socceroos than they know about the All Whites. (another disadvantage to them for move to AFC)

The writer is a dickhead. Who has ever played that formation in a World Cup Qualifying game?

The guy obviously knows nothing about NZ Football. Don't know what was worse him and that stupid formation, leaving out Nelsen or him thinking if "Vaughn Coveny were to be added to that list, a spot in South Africa might well be assured".

Also reading through the comments he included Old based on the fact he has proven himself in the A-League.

You have to admire his enthusiasm despite being totally misplaced. . . . I have a feeling he based the team formation on Pim's strategy against Middle East teams.

Admittedly the sweeper idea is interesting but we don't have anyone who has been regularly playing in that capacity. If we do have anyone in that capacity it would be likely Nelson because he reads the game very well.

I feel a bit sorry for him actually, bit of a muppet.
You know we belong together...
