Just been announced that Smith has confirmed for the AW's(NZ Herald)
Bloody good news....will help strengthen the team for sure. Apparently he can play Left back as well as CD. Actually we are well covered in CD with Nelsen, Siggy and Vicilich. But some extra cover for Lochy is good.
He is more one for the future...even though he is with Ipswich he got loaned out in 2008 for 15 games with Conference league Stevenage. He's played 11 games all up for Ipswich. Must be an OK player coz he has 1 cap under 17 for England.
interesting the coach at Ipswich is Rickies buddy Keane.....be interesting to see what happens when Ricki wants Smith released for WC warm ups.
