To the point where I am seriously considering calling the Colonel 'Colonel' in Football manager like the Brazilian nicknames... watch out for it.

I thought the result was 2 - 1 to the Wgtn selection not that it matters, they were 2-0 at halftime. I saw most of the first half and all of the second. I thought it was a bit of men against boys, not many tackles going in ( deffinately none from Blackburn, he doesn't like getting involved in making tackles) Hogg put a couple in and was spoken to. Wgtn selection were to good with DC and PH running the middle of the park. What people thought was the second goal I think was lobbed over PI and also over the crossbar, bloody hard to see from the bank though.

That lobbed shot did actually go in. Thought the Welly team were much better in the first then sorta chucked it in in the second as the 20s brought on fresh legged little freaks who were fit as hell.

yeah I was at the game for most of the 2nd half and that shot by the U20's player that lobbed the keeper definitely missed! Was funny to see one of the players celebrate like a world cup final winner when it obviously wasn't a goal...the ref didn't stipulate anything though.

not too much talk out their either...seemed liked the 20's were lacking a bit in the leadership stakes but there's room to improve on that I'd say.

also rumour has it that the U20's qualifying tournament has been moved back to December giving them only 3 months to prepare for the WC if they qualify (which could be questionable judging from last night)

I heard that u23s are playing a Wgtn Selecyion next Weds. Can anyone confirm and advise kickoff time please.
