Missed that story on Sunday tonight. Thanks for the link Ashby.
I thought Tv 3's coverage was better during the news, but when considered over the whole evening I have to say that programme tops everything.

Nice job T.V One and the Sunday crew

Great work Sunday- some great footage there...and nice work to get Rory on camera before the game talking about scoring the winning goal, and the goalkeeping coach talking about Pasty saving a penalty.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

here are a couple from the tunnel. Sorry about the occasional commentary, I couldn't help

they are seriously good vids !!

vids and the net are  afull-on combo for sharing and democratising experience - apols for the philosophical rant but there is so much information there that would never have been public 10 years ago

a real insight into sports psychology, i love the way our last couple of lads ran through them in the tunnel onto the park at the start of the 2nd half

and i wanted to smack them for walking so close behind our last man in line at the start of the match

interesting re the pyschology of personal space

thanks for the glimpse into the tunnel, like salmon says i got goosebumps at the half time one, when you said they don't want to come on!!

I couldn't find any media coverage in Bahrains The Daily Gulf News post match. They have articles builiding up to Saturday, but nothing after...they must be taking this pretty bad.

Was it just me, or in the Interview with the Bahrain coach on the sideline after the game by the SBS team I think it was, he kind of blamed number 16 for missing the penalty and also he said where was the number 16 when he should have been marking Fallon on the goal. The highlights did show he was clearly standing behind Fallon and had plenty of time to get goal side of him.

Don't want to start any rumours...maybe some one should check the number 16s bank statements though, see if there is an influx of cash from any betting agencies.

He is going to get roasted back home, as well as the coach I suspect.

If we build it, they will come...

From memory it was 'f**kin get in there' , something like that, but it was too noisy to tell exactly

Call me a spoilsport but what a dick. Taking the limelight away from the players when everyone should have continued their euphoric 93 minutes of support for the lads.

Someone here said it best when the possibility of invading the pitch after a victory was raised - the field is for the players, and the victory is theirs.

I don't agree with you but i'm not going to argue with you. i'm just saying, of the 14 streakers, he was the best and the majority of the crowd loved it.

Fuck this stupid game

There were 14? lol

I just really felt it was a huge moment for NZ football, and it was dumb that the limelight was taken off the players during their victory lap. It meant that the focus of the crowd aside from the aisle where the players were was diverted when it should have all been focused on the amazing team for their whole victory lap.

Yeah 14 streakers. I'm pretty sure that doesn't include the ones who didn't get caught.

Yeah but he had mere seconds on the pitch. At the end of the day, every one gets to chose what they focus on.

I think that nothing can or would take anything away from the players anyway. Everyone, including the streakers, were celebrating the occasion.

Fuck this stupid game
