Much better to watch than the Azteca game. Pleased Ricki finally released the youngsters and they pressed forward. Roux was good and Tuiloma will get better. Costa was a buzzing bee but Rojas and Smeltz showed effects of injury layoff and faded. Had Reid been available instead of Durante I believe this back lineup of Reid, Smith Roux and Tuiloma would have made us much more competitive. Would have Liked Fallon to have had more time and certainly replaced Brockie at half time. The two I didn't think should be there were Brockie and Durante. Don't think Brockie reads a game well. Would have liked to see more of Henderson. Thought Fenton showed composure.

Overall 3-4 would have been a fair result. The future looks good when you throw in Reid and Wood. Hopefully Fitzgerald (J league) will get a chance now that Ricki's gone.

I feel much better now. Lets plan ahead for the next Confederations Cup (2017) with this exciting crop of young players.
