Well I hope everyone enjoyed that 3-0 half time shalacking we received when playing attacking

tbf, it seems that people did enjoy this game a lot more than the first leg, or any other recent NZ game.  In a fixture that 99% right minded people knew we had absolutely no chance of winning, it appears that people preferred us losing while trying to play football as opposed to getting spanked when not - who would have thought that would be the case?

In Mexico we were shellacked 2-0 in the first half playing a defensive 5-4-1 and it could easily still have been a worse scoreline at 45

so I don't see that tonight was any worse really and was sure as heck a lot more entertaining and better for the development of NZ football

one quicker, experienced CB, a little more general experience and organisation at the back and we'll get close to where we were in 2010 and have more potential to develop

was great to see some of the younger talent

Well played Mexico; fantastic to see their pace, touch, accuracy, interplay and runs and good to see our guys trying to match them and making a dent when Mexico backed off

respect going down tonight, beaten by a better team and yes, I would much rather see what we saw tonight than the rubbish we saw for 45+ minutes at the Azteca.  just my opinion
