it's gonna be Bazeley isn't it

It clearly needs to be someone who's prepared to work in with other NZF staff - incl other national coaches & the new to be announced Technical Director.

That was a big takeaway from McKinnon's post Costa Rica playoff review, and a veiled Pragnell criticism of Hay. Is Bazeley tarred with the same brush as Hay, or is he seen as a more collaborative/working with others type? Not sure Talay is.

Hopefully there is a bit of player power also in the decision, ie Wood & Bell have some influence in who is picked. Most importantly you want it to be someone the players respect. This where Bazeley may have an edge, or the opposite if the players over last 3 years didn't rate the AWs assistant.
